Outside Sales Representative

Position Objective:

Do you enjoy outside sales, interacting with people, and getting out from behind a desk?

Then consider being a KNOVA Tools outside Sales Rep. Your job is to provide tools and equipment to mechanics, technicians, woodworkers and those hard working folks who depend on their tools to do their job. Take charge of your future and put your outside sales manager, sales, and/or automotive knowledge and experience to use as an Outside Sales Representative.

Functional Responsabilities:

  • Drive a tool truck.
  • Conduct weekly outside sales visits to customers during normal business hours
  • Meet with mechanics, technicians, and managers within the automotive-truck, marine and aviation industries
  • Determine and fulfill your customers’ tool and equipment needs efficiently and reliably
  • Offer a wide assortment of products available in your mobile store inventory and in the catalog
  • Place new sales orders, manage inventory, and analyze sales reports using your onboard laptop computer
  • Prepare your mobile store with appropriate tools and equipment inventory for sales stops
  • Work closely with your Store General Manager to help you get the support you need to service your customers.

Qualifications:

  1. Must be 21 years of age or older
  2. High School diploma or equivalent
  3. Sales experience preferred
  4. Excellent communication skills
  5. Excellent customer service skills
  6. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  7. Communicate with customers, Associates, and Management; drive a truck; operate mobile store;  lift and carry 75 pounds or more; hang / assemble merchandise; climb, reach, lift, push / pull, and clean
  8. Regular attendance is essential to this position in order to ensure adequate coverage to meet company objectives.
  9. Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
  10. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is appreciated
